24/03/2023
Rewarding the excellence and innovation in tire retreading and recycling sectors in terms of sustainability and contribution to the circular economy: this is the aim of the Recircle Awards, the industry awards created by Valebridge Media Services, now in its third year. The 2023 awards ceremony, scheduled for 16 November 2023, will have an exceptional setting: in fact, it will be hosted during Futurmotive – Expo & Talks, the new Autopromotec spin-off event scheduled in the Bologna Exhibition Center from 16 to 18 November, that will address the issue of energy transition in terms of economic, ecological and social sustainability.
The afternoon of 16 November will be entirely dedicated to tires: in fact, it will begin with the traditional meeting dedicated to the future of tire recycling and retreading, organized in collaboration with the sector magazines Retreading Business and Tire and Rubber Recycling, for then move on to the awards ceremony proper. The award ceremony includes a total of 22 categories, ranging from "Best Retreading Equipment Supplier" to "Lifetime Achievement Award in the Tire Recycling Industry", or even an award for the "Best Light Vehicle Tire Retreader" or "Best truck and bus tire retreader": for those who won’t be able to attend the event in Bologna, it will be possible to follow the ceremony in live streaming. The Recircle Awards will talk about sustainability and circularity also through the trophies given to the winners: the organizers, in fact, chose Neusus Upcycling for the design of the award itself, a Spanish company specializing in the creation of objects using the rubber obtained from end-of-life tyres. The team of designers therefore created an object perfectly in line with the philosophy of the initiative, putting together recycled rubber and copper.
